Default Is phpMiniAdmin secure?

I found this project on SourceForge called phpMiniAdmin, which looks to be a quick, light and easy to used database manager. What I'm worried is that it doesn't seem to be secure. I like how it looks, though, so I wonder if it can be installed in cPanel, sort of like phpMyAdmin where you need to know the cPanel login in order to access it.

phpminiadmin cannot be installed / integrated with cPanel. However, you can install it directly on the server.

It cannot be installed in cPanel, instead, you need to upload just one file and it's ready to use. You will have to access via the browser and login with your user and pass, then you are able to put any SQL commands in the area where MySQL databases are accessed.
