Hey everyone,I forget the linux passwd.
How to start linux without passwd?
I can start the OS if i forget the passwd in windows.
So similarly is there any way for linux?
If you do not require the password to set in, you can shift yourself to single-user mode or edit the grub password, however, when working in Linux online, it is highly recommended to keep a password.
Well, I think if you have lost your password then the first thing you should do is inform your web hosting provider. They can provide you the password so ask for the password or ask then to reset the password for you.
You can do it if you have physical access to the machine, just boot with the flags init=1 to go into single user mode, then type passwd and it will let you add a new password =)
