Default RSA and DSA algorithms in Linux

Do RSA and DSA algorithms have an application in Linux security. And if so can someone explain the difference between each and how they are used. Thanks.

Hi

I don't have any idea about application. But the main basic difference between RSA and DSA is, RSA used for encrypting and signing and DSA mostly used for singing. However the condition of cracking RSA and DSA with identical key lengths are the same. If you just wan to do signing stuff you should consider only DSA, but am not 100% sure about that.
