Compiz and desktop effects

I know this isn't really a question to do with servers, but I was wondering if anyone has tried out the compiz desktop effects for linux (you know the ones - the spinning cube and such) I just got a live cd that has compiz enabled and its the first time that I've actually used it and it works out the box - I'm surprised that its as good as it is !!

I have used it with the Backtrack3 live cd, It is pretty good, and I was surprised with how easy it was to get used to - infact, I miss the wobbly windows when I go to a windows machine!
