Assigning one IP to many websites and addons

Hello,

Has any one ever tried using one ip for different domain names? I have quite a few addons and domain names and I want all of these to use same IP. The idea is to put one bunch of domains under one IP and then another bunch under a different IP.

Anybody any ideas?

Check the whm ip management, there is an ip setting option that shows all domains go to the main ip address.

My major concern was if that is possible. I can buy IP's accordingly then.

It is definitely possible to have multiple domains on one single ip address. If your main domain is hosted on a shared server, automatically all of your addon domains would be hosted on your primary domain ip.
or you can distribute your domains into multiple IPs. But, to be able to do this you need to have a reseller account and add domains under any one web hosting account, or if you wish to host domains on bunch of ips then create different accounts and host domains under each hosting account as addon domain. For example, create 5 reseller account and add 15 domains among these 5 reseller accounts.

This way you can easily use the shared ip address for each reseller account and manage them from WHM Main >> Resellers >> Reseller Center >> Manage Main Shared/Ipless Ip .
