PCI compliance also known as Payment Card Industry compliance standards. These are the standards created by the major credit card issuers in order to keep the personal information and data of the credit card holders secured. A merchant or a firm can accept payments via credit cards if they are PCI compliant. There are some standards i.e. rules or requirements which should be fulfilled to become PCI complaint.
