Hi!
SIP is session initiation protocol connection is a VOIP service provided by many ITSPs (internet telephony service providers) that links PBX (private branch exchange) telephone system to the PSTN (public switched telephone system) through the Internet.

Hi

Session initiation protocol is the long form of SIP, helps those entrepreneurs who want to utilise full resource of their PBX (Public Branch Exchange). SIP trunk provided by ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) to connect the traditional PSTN (Public System Telephone Network) network is the right solution for the entrepreneur to communicate over IP within organization and outside as well.

Thanx

Hi

Many customers don't know anything about SIP and they are just expecting cheap calling rates over an IP connection. SIP connection offers simplicity in terms of easy administration for the enterprise as the SIP normally uses the same Internet access that is utilised for a data. This frequently eliminating the need to install basic rate interface or primary rate interface telephone circuits. Fire1

HI

However, there are some deployment issues such as if the call traffic runs on the similar connection with other traffic like email, web browsing, voice and regular signaling packets may be dropped and the voice stream may be interrupted.

Hi

To decrease this, many companies divided voice and data between two isolated Internet connection. Some other alternatives include traffic formation to keep off this resource contrast, but the effectiveness of this solution is dependent on the number of packets dropped between the Internet and the public branch exchange (PBX). :drunk:

HI

In addition, end user who has a dynamic IP address or is the provider does not support static host-names or if Network Address Translation (NAT) used then user needs registration. :dancing: :dancing:

A SIP Trunk is a logical connection between an IP PBX and a Service Provider’s application servers that allows voice over IP traffic to be exchanged between the two. When a call is placed from an internal phone to an external number, the PBX sends the necessary information to the SIP Trunk provider who establishes the call to the dialed number and acts as an intermediary for the call.
