Default What prices to set?

When you create your own custom plans how do you calculate how much resources to assign to a particular package and what price to sell it? I am finding it very difficult to create custom plans. How would some one know what prices the customer is looking ?

If you are selling shared hosting plans, it's better to make plans with different amount of resources starting with the least and increasing gradually. For example, starting with a plan of 300MB disk space and 3GB monthly bandwidth and increasing the disk space and monthly bandwidth to 5GB and and 50GB respectively. You can accommodate 2 of 3 plans in between these two plans.

When it comes to the price, you will have to study the pricing of the competitors but at the same time, you should make sure that you earn enough profit margins for the growth of your business.

All the best!!
