Default Multiple C-class IP Hosting

What is multiple c-class IP hosting? What are its benefits to SEO? How can I use the multiple C-class IP to get benefit from it? Are there any more types of IP's?

That's correct, Phil. Basically, C class IP is a type of IP used to trick Google into counting the backlinks of your website. The C-Class IP is not used to increase your website Page Rank, But you can use it to rank your website for a specific keyword in SERP. Also, using c-class IP you can drive lots of targetted traffic to your website. You just require register different domains with the niche of your website and build sites on different C-class IP's and link back your website on them. These backlinks will boost your keyword position in SERP very effectively. This is the most affordable option for low-budget webmasters.

Basically any IP address consists of two portions. One identifies the network and the other the device or the node within that network.
Here is a quick classification of various IP addresses:

Class A : It can support 126 network addresses, each containing 16 million nodes
Class B : This can support 16,000 network addresses, each containing 65,000 nodes.
Class C : It can support more than 2 million network addresses, each containing 254 nodes.
Class D : This class of IPs are reserved for multicast purposes.
Class E : This class of IP addresses are reserved for testing purposes and not assigned for public usage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that. I hadn't ever taken the time to look up each of the types other than the Class C IPs and that was only because I kept reading about the SEO sites buying tons of them.
