Looking for a cheap web hosting solution for my adult image hosting. It will need a good amount of diskspace and bandwidth. Please suggest me which web hosting service would be better for my image hosting. Please bear in mind that it need good server uptime.

Hello Atticus,

As per your requirements, I would recommend you to choose a VPS. You will get root administrator access on your VPS and hence you'll be able to install the applications you need on the VPS. You'll get good amount of disk space and bandwidth with the VPS which can also be increased by upgrading your server if your requirements increase in future

I believe Adult content is prohibited on US servers. As per my knowledge, Pornography, Warez sites, or the links from such sites aren't allowed on US servers.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Legal adult content is allowed, however, Illegal adult content i.e. Child porn is not allowed. Warez linking as well as websites are not allowed.

I think that there are a good many people like the person above, who do not understand or grasp the concept of pornography classifications. There have been so many "theories" spun on it that now everyone thinks all pornography is illegal.

Porn content which is legal in the internet industry is allowed and hence you can host legal adult i.e. porn content, however, illegal adult content will not be allowed as it is not allowed in the internet industry.

Could you people please explain exactly, which adult content is legal and which is Illegal? Is it true that even if you have legal content Google penalizes you for having adult content?

Nope, as far as I know, Google does not penalize the website for Legal adult content.

A quick google search of even slightly risque subjects with safe search turned off should show you that Google does not penalise those sites that host adult content!
