Can someone demand for a specific Firewall to be installed on shared hosting Server?

Usually no web hosting provider would offer a choice for choosing a shared firewall. This is a part of the security measures taken by the company. You need to consider a dedicated server or a VPS if you intend to make a choice between firewalls.

Most of the hosting providers do not offer root administrator access to customers on shared servers due to security reasons and hence it is not possible for customers to install a software firewall, however, this is not the case when it comes to VPS's or dedicated servers as root access is provided due to which a software firewall can be installed as per the requirements

If you choose a dedicated server, you can also consider a hardware firewall with it for security
