Default Any limit on database size?

Does Bodhost enforce any sort of limit on database size or usage? One of my previous hosting providers prohibited databases larger than 100 MB, a limit that I nearly met on several occasions. I had to go through the headache of splitting the database just to avoid it. I'd like to know upfront if I'll be expected to keep my databases under a certain size if I go with a VPS plan.

You have full control over your server, thus you can decide how big the databases can get. The only limit Bodhost puts on your database size is it must fit on your hard drive

To answer your question plainly: No, there is no limit.

Okay, thanks for the prompt response. I have no problem paying for the space I need (obviously!), but I just want to have all the details hammered out before I make a move.

I've got to say, Bodhost is one of a very small number of hosting companies I've considered that doesn't have me wading through fine print to get answers to these kinds of questions. Thanks again.

Hello
Do you have a limit on mailbox database size? Have you ever wondered how you could quickly find out the size of all the databases, and then put the data into Excel?

1. Make a directory and call it BATCH.
2. Put the code attachment in a file called size list.bat.
3. Map a drive to the volume on your Domino server mapped to the mail directory.
4. The file dump will consist of a directory listing of the files using lowercase and new-long-list format.
5. You can easily drop this into Excel and use a data/text2columns action.
6. Then just send a witty e-mail to the users with mailboxes over their limit.
