Default Hosting options for me

I am looking for hosting. I was told to join a host that had a forum and live chat because they are usually the most informative and helpful. I'm just going to start off with a blog, small e-store and a forum of my own for mainly my buddies and myself because we hate myspace. I'm dedicated to finding the BEST host with the BEST uptime. My buddy told me to check you all out. Do you have something that would meet my needs?

Yes, we do have plans that can suit your requirements

We offer 24/7 support through Live Chat, Help Desk and Phone Support. We also have forum where answers are provided instantly.

If you wish to run blog, e-store and a forum, I would suggest you to start with any of our VPS plans. If you need more resources in future, you can definitely upgrade at any point of time.

Please feel free to post for any further clarifications.

There are various VPS plans available that you can choose from. However, if you can let us know more on the OS that the website needs or any other specific requirement for the website, we can let you know what package to go with. All you need to get started is an idea of what you want

I need something very easy to maintain. I prefer something cheap as possible. I know nothing about most hosting so the easier the better. I've almost decided on using Simple Machines forums its between them and phpbb I suppose. The estore I have no clue and I want to do wordpress blogging.

Well, if you want to start with a forum, WordPress blogging and you are not using any Microsoft product like MSSQL then I would suggest you to consider Linux VPS. Linux being an open source OS, is cheaper than Windows. Hence, you can consider any of our Linux VPS plans. You can check the plans through below link:-
VPS Hosting, Linux VPS Hosting, Windows VPS Hosting

As suggested by Martin, you can start with our Linux VPS hosting packages as you wish to have something cheaper and you do not wish to have applications or website related to Windows

As you would like to have something simple, we would suggest you to choose cPanel/WHM control panel with the Linux VPS hosting package you choose as cPanel control panel will allow you to manage your server very well

cPanel control panel has many features which will allow you to manage your domains, subdomains, FTP accounts, databases, email accounts etc. and much more which will definitely make it simple for to manage your server

Also, as BODhost offers fully managed and monitored servers with 24x7 assistance, it will be possible for you to contact us at any point of time for support

You can start with one of the VPS Plans for now and as the website needs more resources, you can upgrade to a dedicated server. Please check the VPS Plans here: VPS Hosting, Linux VPS Hosting, Windows VPS Hosting

The Linux VPS Plans start with $24.99 per month and Windows at $34.99 per month.

Oh good grief, my head just went spinning. I am worried I won't be able to do this all. Are there such things as people who just do everything for you and you just add your content? I think I'm too dense for this?

So if I somehow manage to click into some foreign something or other that the panel or hosting flips out on, you would be able to help me fix that too? I am notorious for messing up the simplest of tasks.

That's the reason I love cPanel. It has intuitive layout. I instantly got used to it once I started using it. With cPanel, there is not much chance you will make a mistake...(just be careful before you delete something LOL).

Do you already have wordpress installed with any of your packages? I know there are some hosting services that have wordpress already and all you have to do is just click on your dashboard and you are flying.

If you opt for cPanel control panel, you get the option of Fantastico through which you can easily install Wordpress with a single click of a button. You do not have to pay any extra charge for that.It all comes with cPanel.

I would suggest you to get in touch with the sales crew of Bodhost for a better understanding on this.

Thumbs up

Fantastico is a web application which is integrated with cPanel control panel. It allows you to install some open source applications/scripts like Wordpress, b2evolution, Drupal, Joomla, Mambo, PHP-Nuke, phpBB, Zen Cart, OS Commerce, AccountLab Plus, phpCOIN, PHPlist and some other applications/scripts. Some of these applications/scripts can also be updated from Fantastico with some simple clicks

As Fantastico is already integrated with cPanel control panel, you do not have to pay additional charges for Fantastico

You can contact the Sales department of BODhost.com from Here if you need any further information about Fantastico

Hope this helps...
