Hosted dedicated server or private dedicated server?

If I have a company here in the Philippines, with a very large database that is accessed daily by multiple users, would it be advisable to get a dedicated server hosted from overseas (like the USA) or would it be better to have a dedicated server inside my company premises? What are the advantages and disadvantages in terms of management, accessibility, connectivity, economy, etc.

Honestly speaking, it depends upon your user's geographical location. However, even if your servers are in United states, you won't have a problem in accessing the server from Philippines or anywhere in the world.
