Does BODhost have an affiliate or referral program? I can't find any mention of one anywhere. It'll be great if we can also promote our favorite host and still earn cool cash that way, though.

Though, I am not much aware of their affiliate program, but they offer 20% commission on each customer you refer to them. It would be better if someone from Bodhost gives you a detailed information about it.

Is it just 20% of the initial payment of 20% on an ongoing basis? So if they subscribe monthly it is just 20% when they first order or each month it is 20%?

It is a one time payment. So, one payment for one referral.

Not as good as I have saw of others, which pay continually, but usually that is 5-10% only so 20% of a one-time payment could be more than others so I would think that is a good deal of money. Regardless I see many dedicated and virtual host providers who do not pay referral at all so good deal!

Prowess, yes true though I would much prefer getting a one time 20% than two or three times of 5% as I'm sure the 20% would be much more, epecially of those who like to pay 1 year in advance! besides, 20% of just $79 is a nice amount and that I would think is the main selling plan maybe?

The good thing about this affiliate program is that you do not have to limit yourself to only promoting one website, you can do several, not necessarily in hosting, but in other areas as well.

In the past, I've signed up with other affiliate programs that selected their members based on the quality of their website and the traffic it generated. I'm just wondering if Bodhost affiliates have to meet any requirements like that.

No, there are no such requirements if you wish to become an affiliate of BODhost.com

You will only have to signup from the affiliate URL given below :

https://www.bodhost.com/whmcs/register.php

Once you signup for the affiliate account, you will receive a URL which is unique

After you have received the URL, you can give this URL to your customers and if the customer has signed up from this URL, you will receive commission for the signup

1. Make your affiliate program better than the rest
What would you say if a prospective affiliate asked you why they should join your affiliate program? Most affiliate managers don’t have a quick answer for this. Ask yourself what are the three reasons an affiliate should pick your program over your competitors and formulate an elevator pitch.
Some highlights you might like to include are your conversion rate, average sale amount, EPC, top ten monthly affiliate earnings, suggested keywords for the PPC search engines and details on your data feed

2. In box to outbox in 24 hours flat
The speed with which you respond to affiliate queries tells them a lot about what you think of them. If you reply right away or at least within 24 hours, affiliates realize that they are one of your priorities. But if you can’t by bothered by emails from affiliates and they get pushed to the eternal back-burner, your affiliates are going to move on.

3. Issue a press release
No, do not put out one of those pedestrian press releases that announce your affiliate program. You know that no media outlet cares about the launch of the 18,847th affiliate program, right? Now I say that after having issued those dopey program launch press releases myself.
Instead, make a provocative press release that positions your company as a leader and gives some news, or pseudo news, that is timely and appealing. For instance, I put out a press release for my client, Instrument Pro, right before Black Friday, “Top Ten Holiday Musical Instrument Gift Ideas for the Musician Announced at Start of Holiday Shopping Season.”

Yes, anybody and everybody can join the affiliate program

You can earn a good amount of money by referring customers to our company as you will get commission on the total amount of money paid by the customers towards the company, however, you should make sure that the customer signup's for the hosting package from the unique URL provided to you, otherwise, the order will not be marked under your affiliate orders and you won't receive commission for it
