Default SSL Certificate

I am having 2 subdomains and wish to have SSL Certificate for the same. Can I have a single SSL Certificate for both the SSL or do I need to purchase 2 different SSL's ?

Hello Brett,

If both the subdomain are of the same domain, then a Wildcard SSL certificate will suffice your need. Also, in order to use the Wildcard SSL on sub-domains, a dedicated IP is required for each sub-domain.

Make sure both of the sub-domains are hosted on the same server If yes, a wild card SSL will do the job for you.

For what reason each sub-domain should have a dedicated IP address?
