Backup methods

I am wondering what backup methods do you prefer for backing up your data? I know control panel allows to take a backup when required. What are the other methods?

We use a remote server to backup. if you loose data for any reason on the actual server you can still get your data back from remote server

R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection (CDP) is an excellent remote back up solution, which provide near continuous data protection of data. Support both Windows as well as Linux OS. Remote Backup plan is an add-on to any Hosting plan.

R1Soft can be used for any hosting plan or server package except Linux and Windows VPS's. R1Soft does not support Virtuozzo based VPSs, however, if you have any other hosting hosting plan or server, you can choose R1Soft backup solution as it's the best backup solution available.

This is due to Virtuozzo application. Virtuozzo does not support R1Soft backup application and hence customers of Linux VPSs created using Virtuozzo cannot use R1soft backup plans for backups. They will have to choose Rsync backup plans as Rsync supports Virtuozzo.
