One Website, Multiple Servers

I'm wondering if this is possible. Cloud hosting, as I understand, utilizes different servers for just one website. What I'm thinking on this one is having like 2 or 3 dedicated servers for only one website.

If I am not mistaken you are talikng smothing about Private (dedicated) Cloud Hosting

In my opinion, there is one more option available in such case. You should opt load balanced server hosting environment to cope up your website operation. In load balancing cluster of servers with the same functionality, which helps to distribute the load among themselves in order to accomplish serer scalability, high availability and fail-over and so forth.

Dedicated hosting is good for that.

For Most of then a Stand alone Dedicated server are out of Budget, so they cant think of load balancing solutions for a single or two sites.

Hence Cloud servers are the affordable solution if you require 100% uptime and have less number of site

Its all nice replies and i am glad to read all. one website and multiple facilities are possible. you can create one website for multiple work. And it is also possible that one website can be multipurpose. that means it can do work of four website. Such as software of traffic system can be same in every city and software for retail counter for same company having multiple branches in different cities is also possible.
