Looking at VPS hosting I see the advantage of having several domains and IP addresses. However, as this route is not recommended for e-commerce enterprises who are the customers likely to be?
I've seen many clients hosting their all types of websites, including OSCommerce ones, but none have reported to have noticed any problems as in regards to performance, security or any other issues. Let me know how you feel these hosting products as non-recommended one

Hi Rocky, maybe I am confused but I read somewhere that businesses with a lot of traffic would be better to not use VPS. I am keen to learn so if I have misunderstood this is a good opportunity to find out more.
A VPS can handle a lot of people at a time. If you are just serving a website, it can easily handle hundreds, if not thousands of users. Obviously, if you are running a business, you should get the best you can afford though.
