Default Question about support

This may seem a slightly weird question but I am a bit of a newbie so bare with me, please.

If I were to sign up for a hosting plan, do you have one that allows for multiple domains on the same plan? And if I did take out a subscription could I get technical help even if not strictly related to hosting? I mean if I get stuck on how to change a wordpress design or stuff like that.

Yes, you will be able to host unlimited domains on all VPS's and Dedicated servers, however, this also depends on the control panel you choose (if you choose a control panel with the server).

The first question has been very well answered by Carl. Talking about support for third party applications and softwares, then you would hardly find a host that does support such applications. But here at Bodhost,I must appreciate the possible suggestions to the problems that they provide. They simply do not hesitate to go an extra mile to help their customers. The customer support is simply amazing, they would definitely help you out if they can else they would simply say that the issue is beyond their control or not a part of their expertise and save your time from wasting.

Control panels provided with the servers are also third party applications, however, as we provide control panels with the servers (for additional charges ;)), we provide support for those control panels.

If you would like to install some other third party applications on the server, our technical support department will assist you if you face any problem with the installation

First, thank you for the welcome. Second, thanks for the information and it seems that you do go the extra mile. Sometimes just a kick in the right direction can be extremely helpful, especially when you are short on time and can't find the exact thing you need.

So, which plan would you recommend as the best option to start off with?

Bodhost does not provide shared servers,so you can everything better than shared servers. To start with, you can opt for a starter VPS plan alongwith cPanel Fantastico, with it you would get Wordpress. It offers a one click installation, which helps you get rid of the installation procedure.

We do not provide shared servers as of now. However, we did provide them couple of years back and then decided to serve clients who are looking for a complete isolated hosting solution such as a Virtual private server or a dedicated server.

You are most welcome

We always assist customers in the best possible manner and provide them with all the information we have.

As per your requirements, we would suggest you to consider our Linux VPS hosting packages with cPanel control panel. As cPanel control panel includes Fantastico, you will be able to install and update Wordpress and many other applications with a few simple clicks :D

You can check the Linux VPS hosting packages we offer through the below link:

What if I needed to have different IPs? Let me explain why this is. I am building some micro niche sites and I would like to boost their backlinks by creating small blogs but if they are on the same IP then Google will just ignore them in the best case scenario, or deindex my main site in the worst.

It is possible to have different i.e. dedicated IP's for domains, however, the number of IP's you can get actually depends on the server you choose. Also, it might be possible that you need to provide a justification for the dedicated IP's.

I would suggest you to contact the Sales department of BODhost.com and they will assist you with this.

hi kaching,

Each VPS Hosting Package is offered with 2 FREE Dedicated IP addresses and these IP's can be used to register Private Name Servers, if you have a registered domain name . I think you may buy additonal IP addresses $2.00/month or $20.00/year for each. As said by " Carl Owen" that justification i.e the name of the domain name you will use this IP address for has to be provided, this is really good and should be followed by hosting company to practice security.

Wow. There's a lot of great information here. I didn't know that Google indexed sites (I'm very very new to this). What is backlinking, kaching? That sounds like it's important.

Google is a search engine which indexes websites on the internet and ranks them according to the content they have for the services they provide.

Owners of websites on the internet try to gain backlinks from other websites which are relevant to their niche and have a good amount of traffic as it is possible to get better rankings if you have good amount of quality backlinks from other websites which will result into more traffic, more sales and more profit

Hope this helps...

However Google is not stupid. Simply back linking to a popular site is not the way it works anymore.

Dynamic content, site visits, demographics. There is ALOT to Google.

Unless you have a Doctorate in Mathematics and analytics you wont crack it. You would be working for Google making millions anyway.

My best hint for SEO is to keep your site fresh, link to APPROPRIATE sites relating to your site, and don't cram a million keywords into the site. Google basically ignores them now.

Many of my clients have reported that active "logical" blogging on a site helps alot with Google search rankings. And I've witnessed it in person.

The most important part when it comes to search engine optimization is the content of your website. If the content of your website is unique, you will get good rankings for your website in the search engines and getting backlinks becomes easier. Also, updating your website regularly is equally important when it comes to search engine optimization of your website.
