Do you ever have to deal with high risk clients? I know a place that has this issue for one of their clients who ends up hosted on the same server as my friend, needless to say they spent most of today restoring all clients websites since the high risk person ended up with their website defaced by "kiddies". Is this really as common as my friend is suggesting or is this pretty random nowadays?
What exactly happened and how are they high risk? I have no idea on the answer to your question but you do have me curious here what happened. Yes, I'm nosy. :D
From what I was told through the "grape vine" it had something to do with a SQL injection script that ended up escalating, this happened from a random client (how they got in), but ended up only defacing the high risk persons sites. I am just wondering how common this is. I know hosts all over the world deal with DDOS attacks but how common are things like this?
Oh yea that is kind of odd I would say. You would think that there would be more random acts unless it was strictly related to the one high risk person's site, which makes one wonder what is going on behind the scenes I would think.
