Default FTP or File Manager in cPanel?

Hello

I want to know what you like most and as per your point of view which one is easy. Mostly I like to use File Manager, but I would like to start using FTP as well.

All it depends on your comfort and personal choice. However, personally I would recommend you to start using FTP. You should also opt Filezilla or CuteFTP or WS_FTP and so forth..........

In addition, FTP is now comes with built in html editors. Currently, I am using Microsoft Expression Web 4 and since it has FTP all I have to do is just press ctrl+shift+a to upload the current file. Also it has an option to publish only changed files. Clicking a few keystrokes vs using a file manger cannot really compare.

I would like to vote for FTP. I always use it and the fact is FTP is more reliable than file manager. Also it very easy, and there are various FTP clients available such as Cute FTP, FileZilla, WS_FTP, etc......You can download anyone of those and start using to access FTP account. You will see the difference yourself.......

This actually depends on the FTP client you will be using. If you use an FTP client called Filezilla (one of the favorites ) then FTP is definitely very simple, however, if you are using a complicated FTP client, File manager would be easier. My vote goes to FTP

Certainly any third party FTP client application is easy to use compared to cPanel file-manager.
I had tried File-Manager but was not impressed with the usability ;)

I find FTP much more easier than any other web based tool. I always use Filezilla and find it the most easy way to upload your data. The file manager is good, but then it takes too long to upload multiple files.

As said by Paul, it all depends on your personal choice. If you wish to create a website and test it on your own personal computer, then I would prefer to upload it via FTP. However, if there is a single file that needs to be updated in your site directory, I would recommend using the File Manager.
