Default Cloud Hosting Architecture.

Am sure most people must be aware of Cloud Hosting, this is the newest technology in the Web Hosting industry. There have been various opinions about this service and its architecture.

I would like to know, how many of you feel that data security would not be an issue with the Cloud Architecture and why? You are welcome to share links of the websites based on which you state your answers.

I don't think there is any chance for insecurity or hampering the data security, as this technology is itself developed on the secured environments

Cloud is nothing but a cluster of servers connected to each other with an advanced architecture. This is a whole new concept in web hosting, therefore it would be difficult to say anything firmly about it at the moment. But as far as the comments from the experts say,it would change the entire concept of web hosting in days to come.

As of now answering this question would be like Firing in the Dark, Cloud hosting is not yet fully in its swing. We cant really guarantee of either side.Even though it looks like the safer side, We will have to wait and watch. Hope it works well.

Well, the actual answer also depends on the kind of web hosting provider you choose for Cloud hosting.

The reason for this is the fact that different web hosting providers will choose different applications and the architecture would be different. Hence, you will need to confirm with the hosting provider before you choose the hosting provider for providing hosting services.

I think there is a chance that data could be unsecure. However I do think there are steps and measures that a user can take to ensure that the data is more secure.

At first, cloud is nothing but a cluster of servers that to the end user just looks like one server. Actually, cloud is collection of logical pieces like storage, cpu, memory, that users can provision, configure, and optimize to run their online portals. These logical pieces are nothing but the portions of the physical hardware that makes up the big cloud but they are shared, which is the only concern issue for those users who always being concerned about security. But still there is no example of data loss in cloud hosting...
