Here's another hosting poll, this time about the stats logging software Awstats and Webalizer. Which one is your favorite? Which one gives you the most information? Step right up and cast your vote!
Awstats, without a doubt. It gives comprehensive reports that are also easy to understand, so it's useful for both techies and newbies alike. It's also not as much as resource hog as Webalizer, which is a e consideration for me.
I like webalizer. Its what I'm use to and was the only thing available when I first had normal web hosting. I have tried awstats though and have to admit it gives better detailed stats. I do believe webalizer is easier to read however.
I vote Webalizer.

I have only used Awstats. So, my vote goes with it. I love Awstats because of its simplicity. I don't think that any other Statistic Tools might be so simple to use.
Awstats is better when you compare Astats and webalizer.. I guess somebody of you have tried Google Analytics(GA). It is also good when compared to Awstats.GA uses a method named Pagetagging against Awstats which uses File caching.
I have used Awstats for so long there is no point to me changing to something else now, unless of course Awstats starts acting up and doing things wrong. I will still check both, but I always check Awstats more than any other.
Is this all time favorite or just your favorite for right now? I have used both but I do prefer Awstats over anything else so far. It is simple and quick to pop in and check what I need, I do not want to read the manual for task that should be easy.
I use both StatCounter and Google Analytics for my sites, but I guess those are not the solutions that you can install on your web server. On the server I usually use Webalizer which is very modest when compared to these two solutions.
