Default Affiliate or Google

Which do you like better, affiliate programs or Google Adsense?

For me, I think it's adsense. I seem to make more money this way.

Why not use both, if you can? I suck at finding good affiliates, but people say that if you can do both, then you stand a higher chance of earning that way.

Affiliate programs can be a good source of income. But, Google Adsense too is a nice way to earn.
One can use both to earn a fair income.

I've had much better luck with AdSense than with affiliate programs. I don't do too well selling other people's products unless I've actually used them, so I prefer using AdSense to monetize my blogs and forums. With a bit of hard work, AdSense can actually be a good way to earn.

Affiliating is not so easy although you get higher payouts with it. Affiliate programs in combination with Google Adsense is anytime a better option since both have their set of advantages and disadvantages.

Well, I guess I'll just stick with one or the other for the time being. I just don't want to junk up my site with a lot of advertisement. Thanks for the input.

You should consider joining an affiliate network. Clixgalore offers web advertisements which pay on click and some pay up to 15¢ on a click. You can create a rotating banner so that you have a simple banner that rotates each time the page is refreshed thus eliminating multiple ads everywhere. I use Adsense in addition to many affiliate programs and networks.

I agree with the idea of using both but definitely not on the same site. All you end up doing is distracting your lead so much that they just leave. Plus, you end up with a site that looks like somebody's garage sale .

Google Adsense does have the advantage that you do not need to physically close the sale, which means that you won't have to worry about sales copy and so on.

Who said so my friend? There is no need for any manual intervention, neither do you have to manually close the deal nor do you have to submit any kind of sales copy. I've been an affiliate of some of the websites, but have had to submit any of these.

Once you sign up,the company gives you range of banners and text links that you place within your site. When a user clicks on one of the links of the company, the activity gets tracked by the affiliate software. This way maintaining the records become fairly simple.

I'm sorry Andreas, I am not sure what you disagree with. All I said was that with Adsense you get paid if someone clicks on the ad and that it is not necessary for someone to purchase something. Other affiliate programs pay you on the sale of a product. Am I mistaken somewhere?

Google Affiliate Program Network makes the affiliate marketing more productive. It will be viable to find out which company offers the best paying affiliate marketing program to a Top affiliate like you. This can be done with the help of certain websites that will show you how to make money online and build a strong clientele through the website that makes money.

I could go both ways with these choices because there is a lot of potential in both of them. Although it became harder to earn money with AdSense because of the improved Google's AdWords smart pricing algorithm.

I have used Google AdSense before but never successfully. You need to work really hard to achieve any serious money with such programs. Nothing worth comes easy.

Definitely I like to use affiliate programs other than Google AdSense, because AdSense is also a form of affiliate marketing. Amazon has a good program (Amazon Associates).

I like AdSense more, because it's much cleaner program to me and you get paid for sure, which sometimes with some less reliable affiliate program.

Now that I think more about it, I wouldn't recommend anyone to be an affiliate. It always requires more work than average person is willing to handle plus only 1% or less people see any serious money from it. Don't waste your time with it!

I see what you are getting at, but I do believe that just for that fact we should make an effort, since success is guaranteed because very few people does this.

Don't you think that's kinda given because that's not enough to drive people to do it. You need motivation from within, which many people simply don't have.

Affiliate programs and Google Adsense both are beneficial ways to make money online. Instead of going with any one of these, it is advisable to try to create a website or blog that can meets both needs. And you can easily do this.
