What about my webmails? Can I stop the spams there as well?
I receive about more than 10 spam emails daily
Enable Spam Assassin in that case. You should also see an option as Email Filters in cPanel. That should help prevent spam.

I use windows mail, however I if I have to go to my cp mail, then I use Squirrelmail. Personally, I'm not thrilled with any of the three options. They are very limited in my opinion, that is why I use the POP.

I use Roundcube and I don't really care for it. I've never really taken the time to try any of the others offered within my CP. Maybe I'll look into outlook, do you like outlook better than the CP mail?

Why are webmail clients always so ugly? Roundcube looks the nicest out of all three, but it's still not not what I'd call pretty. Organizing things is also a pain.

I actually prefer to use Thunderbird for my mail. It's better than Outlook, IMHO, mainly because it's free. Someone else might be able to give a better technical explanation of why Thunderbird is better, but that's enough for me. It simply works and that's all one really needs, eh? ;)

I've been using the Roundcube too and like Jenny said, it's ugly and the organization ability of it leaves something to be desired. Why are they so "yesterday" when everything else that surrounds them is so up-to-date?

Indeed, i prefer Thunderbird or Outlook instead of any webmail.

I'm probably breaking the poll here, but I prefer using Google Apps to handle my mail rather than the email of my hosting account. I know some people have reservations about giving the big G control over their mail, but I'm not that paranoid. Using Google Apps also ensures that my mail stays up even if my server or host goes down, which is a big consideration if you do a lot of business by email. You get free POP and IMAP, too, so you can use Thunderbird or Outlook if you don't like Google's webmail interface.

If I had to use the webmail, I'd prefer to use SquirrelMail over all the others. I don't know why a lot of folks seem to think it's ugly, though. Sure, it's not as pretty (read, bloated) as the others, but it's got a minimalist sense of style that suits my quite well. I do rather wish there was a way to customize the theme a bit, though. :P

I'm a member of the "less is more" camp, myself. I've used Horde often in the past, but lately, I've found myself enamoured of SquirrelMail. A mail client, IMHO, should do one thing, and that is allow you to read your mail. SquirrelMail does that, and that's without all the distractions and bells and whistles that other clients have. In fact, I've found that I was more productive when using SquirrelMail since the minimal interface made me focus on the message rather than on how pretty the page looked. :D

I just use windows mail. I'm not crazy at all about the email options in the cp. You would think that if they can develop such a great system like CP, they could integrate a much better email system.

Cool

Webmail interfaces come into focus when traveling, at times when you don't have the local machine access when at remote.. Roundcube is quite good n yet developing to get even better..

And vice versa, with an email client you can access stored emails even when not connected..

I have to agree with the majority on this one. I am dedicated to Squirrelmail. I've used Horde previously as well and did not like their interface. Squirrelmail is simple, reliable and on top of all that, who couldn't love them with a catch phrase of "SquirrelMail- webmail for nuts!" So cute!

On the rare occasion that I use webmail I go for Squirrelmail as well. Mainly because it was the first one to come up many years ago and I have just stuck with it.

I usually use Thunderbird though, it's easier to manage everything.

I've used horde with most of my hosts but SquirrelMail is also good. Honestly I could go either way. But I don't use webmail solutions that much because there are better solutions.

SquirrelMail is my favorite, but truth to be told I have never used any other system before. Although I prefer Mozilla Thunderbird for receiving emails it's nice to have another option as well.

I started using SquirrelMail 5 years ago when I was with Canaca web hosting provider and was not thrilled about it. Interface is rather ugly. But I guess Horde or any other solution in this poll is not much better either.

Have you been heard about SpamAssassin? You will find it in your control panel. You just need to enable that option to prevent spam mails.
