Default Why do you spend so much time on the internet?

Whats your interest, is it webdev, gaming, communities, hobbies.

Tell us all 5 reasons why you boot up your PC, log into Windows (if you're that way inclined) and start surfing?

It'll be interesting

Hmmm, In order of commonality:

1. To check my email.
2. To do the work I am paid for
3. To design web pages
4. To update me forums and content managers and the like
5. General surfing

That is about it I think. Used to play games but a really don’t any more.

I don't log into Microsoft Windows under any circumstances. I wouldn't have a Windows PC on the net. I'd only use a Windows machine if I had to run an application that wasn't available on any other platform, and then keep it well away from the internet.

I mainly boot up my PC(s) to:
1. fetch and send email
2. maintain web sites
3. admin a forum
4. search for information
5. shopping

This almost exactly: ^^^^
Except I'd lump maintenance and admin together, plus I usually grab the news too.

Internet is the greatest resource available now a days that is unique solution to many things such as Business, Knowledge, Information and communication etc. Just by sitting at one place anyone can move anywhere in the globe within a fraction of second. I simply love it for all these positive features. :D
