It is a way of spamming the search engine index. It is achieved by simply copying famous website contents which are similar to a S.E. bot . Thereafter it redirects the visitor to a different website. This is in done in the aim to improve the search engine listings for the targetted keyword.

Well, any spamming actvity is automated. Manual process is not the way they do it.
