I think we all should discuss about the cricket game in this thread. We can discuss about the upcoming matches, favourite players or team etc.

I was looking forward for the TT Champoins league but unfortunately the series has been postponed due to the terror attack in India.

Believe me, two years ago, I have tried executing a stance, arm position, ball release and follow through while holding a cricket bat during the training with my cricket instructor. It wasn't easy at all, because I ended up with a sprained right arm.

That's probably because of fitness, as far as i know. While playing Cricket, you need to Warm-up or you are vulnerable for injuries.

btw, were you trying to throw shot-put ?

Yes I was vulnerable to arm injury, I forgot to warm up that time because it was my first training in playing cricket. I was trying to execute the shot-put stance using the linear technique (I'm comfortable with it rather than with rotational technique). I tried to punch my arm to the sky and flip my wrist. The power just originated from my throwing arm instead of legs.

I am sure how you must have felt.

It's like one of my old-cycling days.
