Default WordPress Backup

Hello

Is backing up of the wordpress database enough to keep all your site's content or some additional manual backup of files is required?

IMO, it's important to preserve other backup copies as well. I had lost around two months of blog posts due the corruption. If the blog is of any importance to you, then having just one copy is not enough.

I am totally aware of all the concern issues mentioned above and that is the reason I always maintain a copy of my blog posts locally. I know that holding database backups is better, but nevertheless I will opt the solution, which is suggested by Lucifer.

It's always good to maintain a back up of your blog posts, And it would also be great if you store them in various devices such as in CDs or USB. Even so, there is a particular plug in available for backing up blog entries. So no need to get scared once you install plug in...But make sure to use backup option in cPanel as well.
