SEO and Effect of Domain Name Change

I have a website with small business hosting plan. I am planning to change current website's domain. So if I change domain name of my website to another, will that change any other part of my web pages? I've had a lot SEO work done on my website so it is ranked well in the Google.

Will the domain name change affects on my website ranking? What else should I be concerned about?

I guess, it will affects on SEO, because your old domain name will lost its ranking completely and the new domain will take several time to rank well in the Google. So in my opinion, you should maintain both domains at least a year and redirect your old domain to new one. Hence, you won't loose any current website too...

Changing the domain name will definitely affect your SEO rankings as well as the reputation of your company (if you have a company associated with it). Also, most of the visitors of your website will find it difficult to locate your website.

Therefore, if you wish to change your domain name, you can redirect it on the new domain name and then change it after you feel that the rankings are stable enough.

it was effect to your website because page rank was mainly on the domain name if you change this only than google consider it as new website
