Thread has been moved to an appropriate section well.. to be a Mod, we consider committed members only, who do a high number of quality posting/articles & assist others with their queries/doubts.

Once you're a mod, your main role would be to make all the users feel welcome, encourage interaction between them and delete or move inappropriate posts and threads as necessary..
