Default DDoS attacks gets cheaper

Attacks on websites like disturbed denial of services or as web better know it DDoS attack has dropped in recent months. Reason is market is flooded with security and the prices are really got low. But the criminal on the net are a step further and they formed a new concept of hacking and other online crimes.

What they basically do is hacking unsuspecting computers and linking them together and these kind of network’s are called botnet networks and they are controlled centrally. These botnets can be used to steal passwords, to launch DDoS attacks and send spam and flood victims servers with unwanted information. It is seen that mostly these networks are rented out as a criminal software as a service to third parties. These third parties are typically recruited in online discussion boards. DDoS attacks can be used to take down rivals, wipe out online competitors and even rob money from legal businesses. For the fiscal year 2008 75,158 computers were found infected by active bot infected by Symantec’s internet sensors. The number is jumped to a whooping 31% this year. Few years ago these DDoS attacks may have cost thousands of dollars per day. A DDoS attack may have cost you thousand dollars per day few years ago but now the prices are gone too low. $100 per day can cost an attack ranging from 100MB/second to 400MB/second. So fast make your computer safe with proper security firewalls and anti virus.

Even though we are seeing some lower prices, but it doesn't mean that we are going to get the same quality of goods. What do you people think?

Great information Jason!

That's true. Anti-DDoS protection prices has definitely dropped. Even if you purchase Cisco Hardware firewall with DDOS protection Guard provides you with good protection against DDOS attacks and sync floods.
