Default Cloud security?

I haven't been keeping up-to-date much in terms of what has been happening on the cloud hosting front but I was wondering what you would recommend in terms of security. I am not an expert but like to keep abreast with what is going on.

I mean, I can see the host of advantages to cloud hosting, especially from a cost point of view but at the same time I still think that security is too big an issue to ignore. The last I knew they were using ISCSI for data transfer and relying on CHAP authentication, but maybe there have been more developments.

Cloud computing itself is a vast topic that anyone can think of and improving security is the first priority on any server.

For e.g. VMware which is one of the most known Cloud Computing solution provider has added with vshield zones in terms with security to it's previous VMsafe VMware Security partner ecosystem. VMware has been emphasizing on security and enhancing security with their latest versions.
