Default Maximum visits for yahoo.

Day on Michael Jackson died will be seen as a dark day in the music world. When the news of his death broke out, everybody was looking for information on internet. Traffic that was generated by search queries, news and social media exchange and news was vast. The traffic was so huge that Google thought it's some kind of attack on its services. famous Yahoo 's news story registered all time highest visits.

That's very true Jason. Atlast Yahoo has something that it can be proud of. Few steps ahead of Google in this case. Hoever that's not the case with other stuff related to Searc Engines. Google is 'The Best'.

Oh! So, Yahoo move ahead of Google? It is quite impressive about Yahoo. I think if Google starts news then again Yahoo cannot go ahead of Google. It will be only Google which will be more preferred by users.

Great news for those who still prefer Yahoo (I don't ).

Well, I thought Bing would be in the race too but I think it is still far behind Google and Yahoo (Results say ). Yahoo news is still good when it comes to latest news over the Internet but it is certainly behind when it comes to other services related to the Internet.

I still never see Y! visit my site that much and really the day it hit, I was on Google so I am not too sure. I do know that for random things (besides MJ) Google has seemed to have chilled out in the News area though, kinda sad.

True, I happen to know the news about Michael Jackson's death and the first website that appeared to me when I opened my browser was the Yahoo! homepage. Yahoo! has been my default homepage for a long period every time I open the default browser Firefox.
