Ranking Services

Has anyone used a ranking service to get their site ranked higher? I'm considering doing this but not sure which company is the best to go with.

Ranking service? Are you talking SEO companies? I haven't used anything like that -- it's extra expenses that I just can't afford. I try to do my own SEO, though I'm not really an expert on it, but I get by.
