Default Lxlabs owner commits suicide, It's a sad day for the web hosting industry :(

I just read about it today, but I learned that K. T. Ligesh, Lxlabs owner and creator of the popular HyperVM and Lxadmin (Kloxo) control panels, had committed suicide last Monday. This is a terrible tragedy and a blow to the web hosting industry as a whole, considering the popularity of HyperVM and Lxadmin. While I never knew the man personally, I've met people who did, and it's sad to think that a pioneer in this industry is now gone. :(

Wow. That's a terrible tragedy indeed and it looks like the guy was a very troubled person. It's sad that it came to this. My condolences to his father (who's apparently his only surviving family) — it's gotta be tough on him to have 3 members of his family commit suicide. :(

Oh my gosh, this is just really, really sad. It's bad enough with death happens out of order, (child before parent). But, when it's suicide on top of it, it's even hard to deal with and understand. I feel for the father and I wish him peace.

Pretty sad news here. Whenever someone decides to take their own life, it's twice as bad for the family. The family is always left wondering if there was something more they could have done or said.

Never knew the guy, but I have heard of Lxlabs and HyperVM. This is sad news indeed. That it was suicide makes it all the more tragic. My mother once reached a point where she was willing to commit suicide (she was stopped, thankfully), so I know just how much in despair he had to be in order for him to take his own life. :(

Three years ago, my younger brother committed suicide. He had a history of depression and would sometimes drink. He had a neck injury that caused him a great deal of pain. As a result, he took a lot of prescription pain medication. When he could no longer deal with it, he took enough of them at once to end his life.
It's been three years, and in all these past three years, I still find myself breaking down and crying. I miss him terribly. And the guilt of realizing I was too busy living my own life to take enough time out and make sure he was doing ok eats at me everyday.
So, when someone commits suicide, those close to them die a little too.
I know, what I wrote is sad, but it's also the honest to God truth. If you know someone that even seems depressed, you should consider taking some time to find out how they are doing, or what if anything you can do to help.

Sorry to hear about your younger brother. There are many things that are way beyond our control and we have to live by it.

Sorry to hear about your brother, bossbob. It's always painful when a loved one or someone we know commits suicide, perhaps more so than any kind of death. I think people should be more aware of the dangers of depression. It's so prevalent, but nobody really talks about it. That's something that should change.
