Making a theme for wordpress?

HI, Ive been using a self hosted wordpress blog for almost a year now, I have tried out a few of the themes from around the net, but none are really what I was looking for, Have any of you made your own theme? Was it difficult?

Hi.. you can have the themes customized/designed as per your requirement/desire from the theme editor which is inbuilt in the blog application. The important point here is that, it isn't hard to edit those templates, rather an easy task..

There are plenty of free downloadable templates you can use for wordpress. Some of them are easily customizable to look and feel how you want. YOu can try that.

Yes, I agree with Noobie. You can download any free Wordpress template and then you can edit it according to your needs. You can also change the images and design of template.
