National Women's Day: How will you celebrate?

International Working Woman's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8 every year. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women.
Started as a political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries.
In Russia, International Women's Day is a day in which the men rise early in the morning to fetch flowers for not only their wives, but the mothers and daughters of the family as well. Events take place in numerous big cities all around the state of California, including women's dancing, and performances by composers, writers and speakers.
In some celebrations, the day lost its political flavor, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love to the women around them in a way somewhat similar to Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day mixed together.
How will you celebrate International Women's Day?

Women's day should be celebrated and everybody should be aware of such events. We should make proper arrangements for such events and try to contribute something for the welfare of the communities which support women. We should also give something to the women's in our own house which will make them proud and they will feel good about this event.

A married couple went to have their baby delivered.

Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that
would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the baby's father.


He asked if they were willing to try it out.


They were both very much in favor of it.



The doctor set the pain transfer to 10% for starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before. However as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and kick it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine.

The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how
well he was doing. At this point, they decided to try for 50%. The husband continued to feel quite well. Since the pain transfer was obviously helping out the wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain. She and her husband were ecstatic.


When they got in the car to get home, they found the driver dead in
the car.

Wow, I've never heard of this before. Seems interesting. I'll celebrate for the first time because I didn't know about it. Maybe I'll get my girlfriend something nice.

As for a world without women? What is there to stop men from destroying themselves?

For the Women's Day, we conducted a survey on men.
What is strange is that some men are not so happy, because they also want a holiday for men.
some say that,Valentin's Day, Women's Day,Children's Day......why not a Men's Day? it is unfair !

Hi Centelo, Shane and James. That was a joke. I seriously want women to be in this world as I am aware I would not be able to bare the pain ;)

I would have no issues having a mans' day, its not like they do not already have had a show named after them (if anyone remembers it that is). I just think that sometimes people go overboard and I really doubt I will be in the kitchen for a full day taking care of my man just for "one day". Its nice to think about but then again it also makes us a little on the greedy side too (been thinking about this a little since I last posted).

If we have tons of days for everyone, then what happens to the rest of the days in the year, they just tapper off. Why not just appreciate those close to you, year round?
