Does anyone here play Defense of the Ancients (DotA)? In order to play it, it requires a game server because it is a LAN game. I have been playing there for the Scourge team against the Sentinel team for over a year now and I admit that I get addicted to this modification type of computer RPG the first time I played it.

I like FPS games (especially futuristic ones) I also like mmorpg's like warcraft. I dont really get enough time to play games these days, but when I do I still like to play doom3 or quake4.

I have been playing a game called '9dragons' its kinda like world of warcraft, except that its based on martial arts - you get to make a kung fu warrior instead of a fantasy magician!!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted in this section..

Anyway, I like most game genres but my main genre is probably action/adventure. Puzzle games like Tetris are also fun when you're bored and need something to pass the time with. I highly recommend that you purchase Tetris for your phone or another puzzle game as they do really help pass the time. As for FPS games, they're fun too but they tend to consume more time so I only play them when I have time to do so as I usually get hooked..

Playing games on your mobile phone can also be a good option to entertain yourself. Nowadays, there are many Mobile phones which can give you an ultimate gaming experience. However, the games which can be played on the Mobile phone are limited and a Mobile phone cannot give you a gaming experience like a computer or a gaming console.

not mobile phone but hand held consoles are good options for gamers who want mobility..like PSP and Nintendo DS....

i personally like PSP..

Halo 3 is a good game and it's definitely worth if you play it on PS3

Yes, I have heard a lot about it and I think every game should be played on gaming consoles as games can be really enjoyed on gaming consoles only. Computers are definitely used a lot to play games. However, I think the true feeling of a game is realized on a gaming console.

i don't think so, Consoles are good only for arcade racing, Beat 'em' all and one on one genre of games...

No one can beat PC when it comes for FPS and RTS....

Not all the FPS and RTS games are worth playing on a PC. However, many of them are. Some of the Arcade games are not quite enjoyable when you play them on a gaming console but they are quite good when you play them on a PC.

No official announcements have been made for the new features in the latest version of Counter Strike. However, it is said that there are some improvements made in the graphical part of the game which mostly includes the effects by the explosions of hand grenades etc. but you will get an idea about the improvements only if you play the latest version ;)

which games do you play, which can be enjoyed more on consoles as compared to PC.?

Well, I have played almost all the versions of NFS and I truly believe that NFS is worth playing on a gaming console. However, it is good when you play it on a PC also but I loved it on a gaming console. Again, this is just about my experience. What do you think about it ?

Well Carl i am not against your choice or opinion.......

But gaming on PC is much more fun. PC users always emerge out winners in Gaming Competitions round the world for moat of the gaming genres.

I prefer card games. I have become involved with on line poker sites lately. Not for mioney . . . yet. Just for fun. But, I tend to do pretty well, so I think I will head out to my local poker room soon and have a go. Other than that, I prefer mindless, stupid games that allow me to just vegetate and relax. I am usually to "on the go" at work, so I just want to relax at home. There is a Japanese website (I can't remember the name) that has a hilarious fart game. It is really stupid and inane, but once I start I can't stop.

Card Game, this is the first time i am listening to this genre of gaming.

BTW as you say its interesting I'll try my hands on it.
