Default Gaming keyboard

I use a wireless, I am lazy and like to move it - lets continue.

Up until recently I have never had an issue with a wireless keyboard for use in game, now I am....I can be walking and the keyboard freaks out and runs me into another direction (I go forward, it goes left or right or just stops).

I don't like the G15 keys, they feel weird.
I am not sure about the Razor, do I have other options?

If you don't like the G15 there are several other options you can choose from like:

1. Razer Tarantula-The Tarantula is the best keyboard of the bunch and
has the most comfortable keys. There are 10 dedicated macro keys with
profile management do that you can have more than just 10 macro keys.

2. Razer Lycosa - Most impressive keyboard with macro capabilities
without any macro keys. Lycosa comes with a software that can turn any
key to be remapped. So it gives you a smaller keyboard and plenty of
macro functionality. However problem is that multimedia TouchPanel is
difficult to use.

3. Razer Reclusa- It is not impressive with its key features but it got
soft cushy keys, an attractive design. It lacks Macro keys and
software options.

4. Ideazon MERC Stealth- IF you are a FPS love than this is the best
piece. It has 97 regular keyboards keys with 34-key WASD gaming area
on left. Finishing of the Keyboard is awesome, it has glossy and
sturdy finish with a row of multimedia buttons in the top left corner.

I guess this proves how much of a gamer I am NOT.... I didn't even realize there were special keyboards that are better for gaming. If I only had time to play more, I suppose I would know this stuff.

I have the Razor Taruntula and it works great. I like using it for my World of Warcraft game. It makes things easier to select while exploring the land.

See I play wow more than I play things like call of duty lately (just not getting the clan together as much, we kind of fell apart). The reason I am not sure about the Razer's is that right now I keep hearing a ton of talk that the more you game, the quicker the keys on these models die. For the F15 I am just not used to the keys, I have tried with a friends (older model, not the newer) and the keys just feel weird to me.

If it helps any for work I am using this, and the keys feel fine and I think thats what might be throwing me off for the G15. :(

I will recommend you to go for Zboard's Limited edition SteelSeries for World of Warcraft. It is best for world of warcraft. Some of its most attractive features includes:

(a) Keysets that comes with labeled commands.

(b) A Z engine software that will allow you to drag and drop any of the
macro key at your specific locations.

(c) in-game shortcut keys

(d) A universal keyboard base with internal hub with 2 USB ports.

(e) Two new gaming surface--QcK Lich King and 5C Frost Wyrm. Both of
these will ensure users to play multiplayer online role-playing game with
great comfort.

This keyboard seems to be amazing for gaming and I think one should try this out. I am not too sure about the pricing but it will surely depend on the place you are purchasing the keyboard from.

I am using the Zboard's Limited edition SteelSeries too. The keyboards I used earlier were not good as they did not include customization of keys. Its awesome for World of Warcraft but i am not sure about other games.

Well, it really depends on what type of games you play. I believe certain games have specialy designed keyboards to make that one game easier. However, I find that normal keyboards and gaming keyboards don't change my playing experience by that much. I often just use a laptop keyboard if I can't access my desktop.

Specially designed keyboards plays a big role if you wish to switch from FPS to RTS......as FPS games are lot more about fast action packed theme as compared to slow RTS games.

Playing RTS games without specially designed keyboards is real pain...

Well, If you are really interested in having a specially designed keyboard for games then I would suggest you to opt for a keyboard which is good for all types of games rather than some of the special kind of games. Otherwise, when you will play games which are not compatible or say good with the keyboard you have then you will think of Hammering or may be Fire1 yourself.

I am not too worried about extra keys for macro's and what not, its more about the feel of the keyboard and not being wireless seeing as my current wireless is a turd.

You definitely have to worry about the extra Macro's if you are playing a game like World of Warcrfat, which needs many keys.

Having a number of keys is really important when you are considering a keyboard for gaming. However, too much keys will create a confusion for new players who are not used to the game and the keyboard.

I do just fine so far with my 70 Lock & 75 DK, are you sure about that? :D

Seriously I understand the need for macro's, but I do not want to spend a ton of money on a keyboard that is only for gaming. I need it to be reliable for you know, typing too. :D Bad weather or if I am sick, I work from home, so I need something that I can beat the crap out of in game or out.
