Default Difference between RAM

Can anyone let me know what is the difference and more importantly, how much is a difference I will actually notice, between having 667mhz RAM or 800mhz?

The difference is RAM running @ 800mhz is faster than 667 mhz. However that also depends if you are overclocking or not and what cpu you have.

800 mhz is faster than 667 mhz RAM but your motherboard must support it.

800MHz is good but 667 is also ok. You probably wouldn't notice any difference unless you constantly monitor the performance

I think you can run RAM at the maximum frequency supported by the motherboard. If you use higher frequency RAM will be clocked down to the maximum frequency the motherboard supports.

The performance increase from 667 MHz DDR2 to 800 MHz DDR 2 will be minimal.
