Default Webhosting for Small Business

If you are trying to build your own business to create financial independence for yourself, then web hosting is something you should need to know about. Having your own web site for your home business is probably the most cost-efficient way to expand your business rapidly into something that will truly become a source of income and independence for you and your family.

Yes I agree that having our own web site for home business is probably the most cost-efficient way to expand our business rapidly .But most important thing for online Business is Marketing .It is just like advertising a physical business. If a customers do not know where you are and what products or services you offer than the chance of succeeding is non-existent. Advertising is the key to any successful business.

The first step we need to take for our website is you will have to gather together the graphics and text that will make up the content for your various pages of your website. Your website is a reflection of you and your business, therefore only you can determine what is most important to present.

Default How to choose hosting package?

A small information website or personal website will usually only require a few megabytes of disk space, however, data transfer(bandwidth) depends on the size of the pages your are offering your visitors multiplied by the number of visitors. Therefore, a popular and graphics heavy website requires a greater monthly transfer than a text website. You should look at a minimum of 2 GB (2000 MB) data transfer a month for high traffic site (8000 – 10000 unique visitor per day) go for at least 1000 GB per month If your Web site is expected to grow, look for a server that gives you the option of increasing your basic package to another convenient package, or take a package with more storage space to begin with.

Note: It is extremely important to look at the monthly data transfer bandwidth included in a plan.

Default How much space do we need for our website?

The web space you need is the total of the size of all the files you want to put on your web site. which includes

html/webpage files (are normally very small - on average 40 - 50KB)

Image files

Installed programs

Emails stored on server

Server logs
