Hello Everyone

Here I have some questions: I would like to know how websites like Amazon, eBay, etc … In short all the popular online shopping websites manage their order confirmations? I mean, do they have teams involved in sorting the emails? How do you manage so many emails ( software, personnel)? And last question; does anyone have any information that explain how the process works when ordering products online? I am planning to make my own e-commerce website?
