Default E-commerce Cart??

Hello

Does anyone know of a ecommerce cart that does like this, when customer make a selection from the drop down menu, it will show an image, and gives a description and price. At last, there will be many drop down menus per product, it's then arranged in the end bases on multiple selections.

I think you should try Prestashop. I guess it comes close, but when the last time I had tried to do same thing as you are trying; I failed with it, because the script attributes doesn't allowed for image or description per selection. However, you may discuss this issue with your developers.

Thanks for your replies. Its seems promising, but I still don't see an option where it changes images and text on drop down selection. It's more check boxes with the use of HTML.

Okay thanks for the suggestion, but I want solution which is affordable for me. The ecommerce cart you recommended cost $295 yearly. So it's out of my reach....

TO OP
Why don't you go for a Magento Community Edition; I think it's a free of cost. Magento is really reliable and sometimes cost effective as well. May be its customization work is expensive, but as compare to performance and features it's the best solution.

The cost argument is pretty straightforward. And web development companies who offer customization work for e-commerce carts are not necessarily any cheaper than those who hand code. Or vice versa. In your case, I would like to suggest hire someone who is mastered in hand code. Or you can contact web development company who is reputable in building shopping cart according to customer's requirements.

I doubt if there is a shopping cart available which will fulfill your needs as you need a special shopping cart. It's better to hire a web developer and ask him to develop a shopping cart for your needs.

I don't think there's a shopping cart that have this feature for free. This might needs customization and requires you to pay extra.

Based on your requirements, this is actually possible but then would require a custom job. I happen to know a shopping cart that is customizable and very flexible. Their custom development team were so great...Avactis is the name of that cart
