Default osCommerce is Old?

Hi

Someone recommended that osCommerce is quite old now and user will experience some problem when it comes to upgrades PHP. It will stop working when your web host upgrades PHP version to next level. Is that true?

I do not know if it is true or not, but I can make a guess. osCommerce is one of the most used cart programs out there. The last I heard they were still making continual updates. There are always small glitches but over all I would say that it is untrue.

Recently osCommerce has updated, which brings it up to date with MySQL 5 and PHP 5. However, you need add-ons. As per my experience in osCommerce you'll not getting the graphic template system so it means it is hard to modify the design.
