Shopping Cart Options?

HI

Currently we are using customized shopping cart for our e commerce product, but we are getting several negative feedbacks from our existing clients. Now our help desk is quite busy to solve there complains and support request. The customized system seems might a bit complected for our novice web-master. So now we are looking for a new system which is more user friendly according to web-master and web host as well, and we would like to hear your feedback.

Cubecart, CS-cart, and Pinnaclecart are probably the most user friendly shopping cart for the web-master and they are well capable to manage for the most e-commerce needs without additional modules.The rest of them will might a bit complected for the novices.

osCommerce and Magento are also famous and widely used Shopping Cart Softwares. These are free & open source online shop software with many professional features, have good flexibility and control over the look, content, and functionality of the online shop.

If you have a Linux set up then osCommerce is the most economic and cost effective cart to go with. I believe osCommerce is used more than any other cart too.

It allows for online storefront where you can choose from a wide variety, templates you could use. It is easy to install and very much easy to monitor.
