Shared IP or a Dedicated IP

Hi

Regarding to Website Ranking, whether to go with a Shared IP or a Dedicated IP?

This is a debatable subject in SEO since different webmasters have different opinions. There is not any absolute information that a website hosted in shared IP will perform better than in dedicated IP or vice versa.

The only one disadvantage I understand about Dedicated IP is its operating cost and nothing else. In case of Shared IP you need to ensure that other Website on same IP address are not so controversial.

That is the benefit of dedicated hosting. You have control to make sure that no one the same IP are hosting controversial sites, or anything else that might be in conflict with your site.
