Zen Cart or Magento?

I have no idea which e-cart to choose? I've been dealing with this decision lately and opinions are different. What is your suggestion? Keep in mind that SEO is very important and store which I plan to have can scale to a big size very quickly.

My friend is using Magento on his new site and he tells me that it's not that simple to use but he is relatively new to e-carts, so don't take my estimation too seriously.

Magento is what I would recommend in terms of features and performance, however, if you find Magento to be difficult, you can switch to OScommerce or Zen Cart in future.

Thanks Carl, I heard great things about Magento but what scares me the most is the knowledge of Magento that I don't have and I need to launch this store very soon.

Correct. Magento is one of the most preferred shopping cart due to the excellent features it offers. You may find Magento difficult in the initial stages, however, once you start using it, you will get used to it
