Default Earning From Blogs

There are so many blogs in the internet right now and I wonder how they make money from it. I have many thoughts to write about but they are all in general knowledge. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Some are set up specifically to earn, with banner advertising and SEO connections. Others are really ways to disguise selling a product mentioned in the text.

It sounds as if you want advice on how to make money from genuine blogs you are the writer of, am I right?

There are many ways through which you can earn money from blogs, however, it depends on the kind of content your blogs have and the amount of traffic your blogs can fetch.

If your blogs are successful in fetching a good amount of traffic, you can have advertisements, affiliate links, banners etc on your blogs to earn money.

Like what Carl said, you must try to get your blog as much traffic as possible. After that then you can monetize your blog with ads. Try not to put too many ads as it will discourage readers from your blog.

This is indeed a very good point.

It's important that you keep very limited ads on your blogs in order to make sure that readers have continued interest in reading your blog posts. Also, those weird pop up's annoy many visitors and hence it's suggested that you don't have any pop up's on your blogs.

Thanks for the replies. I agree that having too many ads will deter visitors from reading my blog. Where is the best area to advertise in a blog? I don't like ads inserted in the middle of a blog but I see the strategy of it.

I think they are good on one side of your website or at the very bottom of your website. it is not a good idea to place the ads in the middle of the website.

Yeah, placing ads in between the site content does not make the website look professional. It is better to place them in the left or right panel of the website.

I agree with all the other points made and must add just one thing. Never, ever, under any circumstances have those annoying pop ups that float or race around the screen. I just close the site down straightaway.

I think Carl said that already.

Anyhow, I don't like the pop-ups as well, especially the ones that will continue when you click "Cancel"!

Another idea that I would like to tell is that make your article straight to the point. Don't make it wordy for the purpose of SEO. When there a lot of readers in your blog then SEO will just come along so make the blog plain and straight.

Yes Carl mentioned pop ups, but that brought to mind the specific type that move around the screen - sometimes quite fast, and until you catch and close them they freeze everything. I rarely have any that won't close even after I cancel them but some lead me to their website, regardless.

The worst for this is the 'you have contaminated files on your pc' ad. I usually have to reboot just to get away from it.

I know many famous bloggers in my country. There are some companies want to employ them to advertise their products on those blogs, because famous bloggers have a lot of fans and followers. I think this is also one way to earning from blog
